the 2.5L that's in the '06-'07 does have larger tubing. It's just a shade under 3", but larger than 2.75", or so says the guy that did my exhaust on my '06. any decent shop should be able to make it...

be sure your lug bolts didn't cause your issues. a lot of times aftermarket wheels need aftermarket/different length lugs. my stock lugs hit the e-brake parts of the rear hub when i installed my new...

there was a guy on mbword that was looking for a single funnel spoke wheel. i think he has a wtb ad in the wheel/tire classified section. either there or in the w203 section.
