20's on an E55...need your help with offsets and tires

I know there's a lot of info out there, much of it conflicting, so I wanted your take on it.

Ordering wheels (DPE LS5's - liquid cinder) next week and I'm going with 20's - would like to run 9" in the front and 10.5" on the rear. What offsets do I need to make this work without rubbing on a lowered '05 E55?

Also, was planning 245/30/20 front and 275/25/20 rear - what tires have you guys been able to find...I'm having a hell of a time finding those sizes.

Finally, what would be the best tire...I know this is subjective, I've tired Goodyear GS-D3's (loved'em), Bridgestone Potenza SO-3's (decent). What else should I consider????

I take it all back. I'm going to run with 19's. Don't want my acceleration to suffer too much and want to save space for the TPMS. Not to mention, I just looked at some pics I took and the 20's I'm borrowing look too damn big...if that's possible...

I did some quick calculations and came up with 245/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear.

Am I on it? Help a brotha out!
Go with 20's Darryl. If you're getting 3-piece wheels w/rivets they are going to look small on the W211.

If you're ordering from HRE, DPE, or a similar company you probably won't be getting any offset info from them since most of the custom wheels places consider that proprietary info. You should probably talk to them and tell them what you're attempting to do and they'll let you know if they can do it or not.
if you only wanna run 275's then 10 is enough, 10.5 is just unnecessary extra weight.

if you do 19 then go w/ 285, the car is massively undertired from mb (the n/a 210 55 had 275's stock, go figure, they add 150hp and go w/ thinner tires)

i would do 19s and put the bitch on the floor, but i drive hard.

i would also try to go for 255's in the front.

i dunno shit about offsets, sorry

i recommend michelin pilot sport 2's

20's will fill up the wheel well nicely...

19's on the other hand will look a tad bit small...

Trust me, I started with 20's and then went down to 19's...you could tell the difference...even though it may be a small one, you'll notice it...
