so im driving home from work the other day, tired, cruising, windows down on a nice beautiful sunny day. all a sudden i see this tugboat old school 560sel come up on my ass and toy with me then swerve around me and mug me as he passes.

i see him stopped at a red light further up and line up next to him and i look over and hes mugging me some more, i knew he was gonna floor it off the line, so i prep my self in 1st gear and get ready for a decent brake launch, cause im assuming he has a v8. light goes green and we both launch, i actually got him off the line and i continue pulling at about 3rd gear im a car and a half on him and i can see him looking at me lol, so i back off at around 70mph cause its a 40 zone, and he does the rice fly by.

soon to see a cloud of smoke coming from his mufflers, and hood, quickly forming a cloud around his car. he turns his hazards on and pulls over to the side of the road. i pass him and give him a thumbs up and he flipped me off. haha

people are jus plain stupid sometimes. the end. :drive:

im sure he woulda gained on me, i launched pretty good, but who knows. that things a tug boat.

7 seconds with brake launch k/ns and a straight pipe biiiiatch! i kid i kid, but maybe who knows? lol

maybe if it was a real straightpipe (all the way from headers back, no resonators, cats, mufflers) w/ a wider pipe diameter, modified (for more flow) stock airbox w/ k&n, chip and you had the kompressor motor

yea i wish i got the kompressor instead, but i like the sound of my v6. after a few more exterior mods im going for motor probably, exhaust, ecu tune, maybe pulleys. and if i ever have enough money kleemann headers ftw. :D, it wont be a monster but im sure itll pull nicely.

The V6 is smooth and feels faster at topend. The Kompressor's only advantage is its launch....from then on it doesn't impress me.

i drove a kompressor and it didnt impress me either, the steering for one sucked. it was too stiff, my v6 glides all over the place and i can steer with my pinky if i wanted. i actually raced a kompressor coupe and we stayed neck and neck and i started to pull thru 3rd into 4th but not by much, but i would think a coupe being lighter would smash me.

I actually like the heavy steering. Evens out my forearms. :eek:hnoes:

But yeah, no offense to the 230k owners, but passing power is non-existent especially with the automatics. Dut knows how much I hate the 230k loaners. :wall:
