Air pressure loss w/aftermarket wheels

Any of you guys with after market wheels experience the same problem? Every 3 days my 1 front wheel would lose around 5-10 psi. No nail in the tire, I'm thinking of bringing it to Discount Tire so they could dunk it in water for leak then tar it up...Good idea?

take it in and see if its leaking from the rim contact points.
Make sure the rim isn't bent. Maybe a bad valve stem.

Yes, it's usually caused by bad valve stem or the rivets on the wheels itself.

If its not a hole in your tire then ya it might be a bad valve stem or rivets...
I had that problem when I got my wheels... one of the rivets was loose... take it in and have them check it out...
Multi piece wheels are notorious for it. Hopefully, it is the valve. If not, you may want to have HRE loosen and re-TQ the rivets. It neds to be done properly and a good hit will bend it just enough to leak.

DO NOT have it tarred and feathered. Those things are far too nice for it. be patient and find the issue.
it might be leaking through the beads. take it to discount. i'd hook you up but wheel/tires bigger than a 16inch wheel i HATE doing! sorry bro...
I've experienced the bad valve stem problem in the past. In my situation, slightly moving the bad valve stem would cause air to leak out. When you are driving, the vibrations from the car may possibly be pushing air out slowly. I hope everything gets fixed quickly
I guess it was a problem with the bead. Chorosion is what I remember Jay saying.
my stock c55 wheels tend to do this. sucks gotta bring it in
