Im a SONY monster but will be converting to Canon soon... What should I get ya'll? I've the Sony SLR and it sucks. :wall:
Canon 1Ds Mark II
I don't really think you need to blow some 8 grand on a camera if you don't shoot for a living.

Hahahaha... Dang. I cant afford something that high end... :wall:

Budget is about $1200 - $1500.
30D and grab yourself some L lenses.
Tax writeoff for him ;)

30D is fine. Actually I like the XT better. Get some good Canon L lenses.
Damn, I want a nice camera. People tell me get the XTi over the XT Rebel. Spensive :(
Either go XT or 20D/30D. XTi tells people you're indecisive. Just kidding. :D
XT is more than enough. Just save up for decent lenses.

You're not serious about buying that are you?

Hmm for that camera being that it's full frame i'd say:

1) Canon 16-35mm F2.8L (Car and landscape)
2) Canon 50mm F1.2L (Car detail shots)
3) Canon 70-200mm F2.8L (Landscape/Nature)
4) Longer focal length if you want to get into birds and wildlife.
5) Macro lens for flowers/plants.

Depends on what my employeah discount is. :D Holy shiat! The 16-35mm and 70-200mm alone is roughly about $3,300.00. Damn! How :haaaay: is that?
Get the 16-35mm. I find that much more useful than the 70-200mm.
Since all the Canons are displayed all pretty, what did you take those pics with?

Nobody thought of asking this???

Please tell me it was a Sony or something
