Got my Son a New Car...209 Sport added a Raised Thumb ALCANTARA / Leather steering wheel WITH Paddle shift....on the late cars it CAN Be Done!

Btw The CLK did NOT have Paddle shift before the change

Neither did mine. So after I modded one car I filled him in on it, and he's been cool ever since. Now he just looks at it as a waste of time and money, but he doesn't trip out though.

He's still terrified of hardcore performance mods, since he's seen me punching it around town.

My dad had no idea either, even when my rear tires were wearing out twice as fast as the fronts. He tried to convince himself that I'm a good driver and wouldn't take risks. Ha!

A few of my friends told him but he just refused to believe it, until oneday I lit up the tires from a roll while rolling down the street with him in the car. He asked to drive it as well, punched it a few times and told me to be safe. He was cool until a few weeks ago, when I told him I topped the Buick out at 154mph (on S-rated -112mph max- tires). He still believed the car was governed to 108 :clap: :clap:

or pull more than .85g's through corners?
