Any other GH players? I play real guitar but since playing GH I pick up the wirless GH one much more then my real one last few weeks.

When I first played it I thought It would be tougher.

after weeks of non-stop I acheived (with effort) Legend status on GH 1 - HARD and GH II - HARD about 50-60% through on expert, some of them still seem impossible to finish.

Does anyone know the Release date of the next version

GH (80's Edition) I beleive?
GH2 just released on X360 on 4/3. They are going thru some legal issues right now internally, product managers taking the idea to make their own company. The original developer, Harmonix, is now part of EA and am making a similar game to compete. There's a company called Eidos who is make a awesome game called TraxxPad. It's a game that you can develop and create your own beats on the PSP and port them to MP3 or whatever format you want to share with friends. They currently have a bunch of producers (Lil John, Scott Storch, even THE GAME) test it out and they spit on the spot to a track an intern made on the spot. CRAZY stuff...
Sounds about right... That reminded me that when I ordered GOW II I asked the game store, and they also did mention the purchase of harmonix from EA, so I would expect a much more finished game from the previous (the previous are not bad though)

will keep an eye out for the next release

I started reverse, got GH II as a gift, once I "owned" most songs, had to go back and get GH I LMAO game is addicting if you like the music and in some cases even if you don't
I played GH2 for the first time drunk off my ass on Saturday night and now I'm hooked! lol

Thinking about buying it soon. Are the wireless controllers worth it?

for my 2nd guitar I bought the RedOctane wirless version.

it was a bit higher then the other knock off's I have seen - all the major gaming resellers - Walmart/Target/etc sell a basic one for $49-$59
I paid $69 for the redoctane version from Gamestop. it does have an auto shut off (saves battery's) as well as a on/off switch if you remember to turn it off.

It has never dropped a signal or caused a delay as far as I know. worth it for me, more for the 2nd guitar to play multiplayer. much more fun then single player.
