My HOA sends me a letter telling me I left my trash can out 12 hours too long. :wtf:

Holy shit. talk about anal. My trash pickup is on Tuesday and I didn't roll it in behind my side gate until Wednesday morning. I had a letter in my mailbox by Thursday. Now, only if they were that quickly on top of things that really mattered.

I'm about to write a smart ass response back to them like I did last time when they sent me a letter for having my trash can out on (get this) the day of trash pickup. :wack:

They have their advantages but, come on. Most people don't make it a point to take time out of their day just to visit their damn trash can. We do it when we have time.

Another letter was sent to me about not too long ago about one weed sprouting in my driveway. I told them, yeah, my landscaper will get to it whenever he gets to it. Just because some of these fucks don't have to work and volunteer their time doesn't mean regular people don't work. :jack:

I laughed when they had this requirement that all homeowners had to have their landscaping done within 6 months of ownership. Yeah, please print some Benjamins for those of us that don't have them stashed under their couches. It's bad enough to worry about furnishing the interior then you have control freaks telling you what your priorities should be. :hammer:

bunch of retired mofo, I told my hoa to blow it out of their asses, when they had issues with my dog barking and that they could just call me on the phone if they had an issue, needless to say they don't like me, but who gives a rats ass.

i found out who complained, since they have to do it in writing, and sent them a sarcastic note that if they had an issue with my dog they could always call me and I would come over right away to discuss it, again never had a problem with that neighbor again.

I'm sure my neighbors love it when people leave my house at 3am with modified cars. :D

I agree HOA's suck a$$. All it takes is for one person to complain in the community. They call the management company then they're obligated to respond to the complaint. So someone probably called you out on your one weed and trash bin...lol.

I had one guy in my community complain that I wash my car too much and I can't wash it anymore because the water is part of the monthly HOA fees. He doesnt want to pay it because I use more water which is a crock of [email protected]#$. Even though there's at least 3-4 other people that wash their cars. Anyways no more complaints towards me. That guy moved out and his tenant washes his car all the time now....hahaha. Granted the CC&R says you can't wash cars, but everyone still does it.

Everyone else was fine with me washing my car...it was just that one prick!

Don't you get in trouble for the actions of your guests? My friend's HOA gave him a speeding ticket for my actions.
LOL! The HOA can't ticket anyone in my neighborhood since the streets are still considered city property and not common area like in a condo community. That's the main reason most communities in SD aren't gated is because of that very reason. HOA's and the homeowners don't want to pick up the tab for that too (patrolling the common areas). Getting SDPD out to do anything nowadays is a joke due to the staffing shortage so hammer away! :D

My adjacent neighbors are all Asian and know me to some extent so they don't tend to snitch about petty shit. It's the others that live further down the street that probably complained. A-holes!

But yeah, Mike, when I was living in this community in Carmel Mtn, there was this little old lady next door who would bitch about everything!! My roommate put a lock on her garage door when we moved out. :kekekegay:

Hahahah, let's not even go there. I think they loved my 2-step on the Integra more than anything else, when it finally worked on the AEM EMS that is. I used to rip up and down the street trying to fine tune the computer in the middle of the night. :eek:hnoes:
