As some of you know and have seen, I have the V1 concealed display (a pretty modified and reduced size version) installed in the ashtray of my C-Class so the install looks pretty stealthy. It's primarily so people (cops in particular) behind me can't see my radar detector on at night and the mute button gets placed a lot closer.

Well, the C-Class got new license plate bulbs a couple days ago and is getting stainless steel brake lines this weekend, so I couldn't let the M3 not have any mods this week too.

So, I did another custom wiring job and wired the concealed display to the ashtray of my M3.

Here it is with the ashtray closed:

haha, sure Andy. it's actually a lot more complicated to install on the w203, but it's not that hard either...

lol, thanks man! I can try, but there's no way in hell I'm tapping a wire on an E55! I'm too scared I'd mess something up.

we have to look for where the accessory power fuse in the fusebox for that sucker! :thumbup:

Radar detectors aren't illegal in CA. Jammers yes.

It's best to hide it because if you get caught speeding AND the cop sees it, your ass is GUARANTEED meat.
