Leather care

Well i got my car back from the dealer and they gave my car the first class detailing treatment, inside and out. Unfortunately, i didnt expect that and am not a big fan of shiny armor all'd interiors. I've been using the non glossy finish Meguiars interior products to keep that new look. What do you guys recommend I do to get rid of that glossy finish the detailer left in the interior?

I hate the glossy stuff. It serves as a dust magnet.

Lexol is what mostly everyone including MB recommends for leather care.
any ideas on how i can get rid of the gloss? is there something i can wipe down with?
You can try using the Meguiars interior cleaning wipes. That should do the trick.

+1. I dont like the glossy stuff either.
I've been using leatherique, and it leaves my leather matte, not glossy
Curious did you find out what the dealer used, was it the Perma plate stuff? They did that on mine, and for the first week it looked more glossy then I wanted, but after a week it really looks good, more matted but a "full" leather look brings out the napa stiching nice.

yeah, my front seats are starting to look normal but the rear seats and door panels are still slicker than someones jerry curls

haha, I think the suggestion of a a wipe down, or rub in, should get it all to the look/feel you want.
Mike, get a small pail of water and drop in a few (FEW) drops of dishwashing liquid. Soak a clean rag in there, get the water out of it until it's just damp, and then wipe down the seats with that. It'll do the charm.

Next, follow it up with your favorite leather conditioner.
