Do these badges fit early model W124's? My star is on the actual grill, so I think I need a smaller one. Do you know what is available for these? thanks. (BTW, I just want any flat badge, I am tired of looking at the hood ornament)

They are not an OEM part. Mario buys the components and assembles them himself. He is just some cat in NorCal and is a mistery other than that. You email him for availibility (remember there are two color types) and then PayPal him $150. The next thing you know, a package shows up.

LOL I got the exact same one on ebay for $15. Only thing is that it doesnt have the nut to secure it, it's just double sided taped.

AND YES, it is the same one, not the cheap ass ones you see all over ebay w the thick epoxy on top. I got it a long ass time ago, and havent seen them on ebay ever since.

Are you sure you have the same one? I got one from eBay for $10 and it is similar but not the same. Is yours flat or dome shaped? If it is flat (which i suspect), then it isn't the same.
