Get this one:B-dub said:I need one for filming the race team and for use inside the car, any suggestions? I dont really have any criteria, this is all new to me.
Hm... in terms of quality, what does it compare with? Like, I'm into video editing and making short movies, commercials and music videos. Would it be something that's perfect for any of those? What I'm trying to say is that, would the quality be like those in the music videos you see on TV?JmanE55 said:Get this one:B-dub said:I need one for filming the race team and for use inside the car, any suggestions? HDR-SR1 is the way to go. Jangster and I have it and it's GREAT. :thumbup:CLKFifty5 said:I'm looking into getting one right now...have anyone looked at the Sony HDR-SR1 and the Canon HV-10? I'm leaning more towards the Sony but wanted to know if anyone did the research to see which one is the best bang for your buck!
Welcome to the SR1 club. :thumbup:CLKFifty5 said:I just picked up a Sony HDR-SR1 at Amazon. It's on sale for $1221, no tax and free shipping.
Jangster, you need to load the software that comes with your SR1 and use it as the PLAYER to play it in HD1080i and convert it to mpeg if need be.jangy said:I love mine. Just picked up a wide angle lens and car power for it a few minutes ago.
Finally, someone else has one so you guys can teach me how to manipulate the files. I still can't play the damn MPEGs from it on my computer.
