New Wheels...

I've been wanting to get 20"s for a while but i'm confused as to which ones I should get. I love my current wheels, I just wish they had a polished lip and were 2 inches bigger. HRM, turns out that kind of wheel does exist.

The TSW Bremma. They are pretty damn cheap as well. My only concern is that they are cheaply built and will get bent fast. I've been told they weigh around 31-33lbs which is around the same weight as my current AMG wheels.

I absolutely love the look, they are my favorite by far.

My second choice is HRE 547R's, i've heard nothing but good things about these.

My third choice is Brabus Monoblock VI's, I love the look but i've heard they are on the heavy side (don't know any concrete numbers though
:dunno: )

I'm a bit torn on this.

The Bremma's are the rim look I want and they are ridiculously cheap compared to 547r's or Monoblock VI's.

Suggestions? :hmm:

Definitely HRE's if you can afford them. They are pricy as HELL but they look soooo CLEAN! The 8 series are nice too if you want something different from the 5 series HRE's. I would get the Brabus as my second choice.
HRE's.

Out of your selection I would go with them besides the fact that they are so played out these days.
So do you guys like the look of the 547 over the Bremma? Or is it just the name?

I just don't like the feeling of buying a wheel thats my second choice and also end up spending 5k more :hmm:

I guess what I want is more info on the Bremma's, is the quality of build really shady?
The Bremma's aren't bad but too close to stock unless that's what you want.

Have you looked at Radenergie wheels?
Let's just put it this way ... you get what you pay for as the saying always goes. Especially for wheels!
I still prefer these

but not a fan of the price

for brabus, something about these mono V's (right side) are still top on my list - but only 20" option max

for your choices, HRE's you can't go wrong with them

Radenergie's are nice but i'm confused enough as is, last thing I need is more choices

(I do dig the R10's though)

I might just bite the bullet for the TSW's, at 1/5th the cost I won't care too much when they bite the dust. Depending on how long they last, i'll either get another set or HRE/Brabus/whatever.

Dunno guys, I just like the look.
Dang....the R10 is dope when it's dropped like that. That's my vote then.
Sorry to confuse all of you with my statement up top. Those are the R05's pictured on the SL. :)

I ordered the R5 in 20's, yes I know I'm taking a chance on the 20's but I'm keeping the stock rims. I just wish they had the R5 in 19's, with my luck they will probably have them after i commit to the 20's.
The R05's have been growin one me lately too...after seeying the wheels on that one black E55 on mbworld at first and now this forum...wow...amazing!!!
