no one else owns a W140?

Ill put up some picts of my w140s soon!

i wonder what it takes to be a mod for the s class forum..i have more info and know-how up my sleeve about the s class than any non-mechanic i know

I've got a W140 I have had 3 W140's. A 1995 S500 (accident), a 1996 S500(have it), and a 1997 S600 (couldn't afford it).

Right now, I have a Black 1996 S500 Sedan, and it is an awesome car. I also have a W126 560SEL. I love these cars, and have been a big W140 fan forever.

The W140's were hot!! Too bad I don't see too many around anymore, especially not modded ones.

yea, that is definitely true. I hope to eventually get some nice rims for my W140, right now I've just got the stock rims, except they are chromed. I still don't know what to get though, as there are a lot of choices for rims: Carlsson, Lorinser, AMG, Brabus, etc..

Anyone else find it amusing that the navy Wald says S63 on the right side of the trunk? I had seen one of those on the street many many years ago, and MB JUST started making their very own S63's!!!

yea, that is very strange. It looks a bit out of place. If anywhere, it should be on the left, like normal MB's have it, with the model on the left, and the tuning company on the right. Did WALD do engines? I was only aware of them making body kits.... :dunno:

I don't know if they modded engines, but I know most kits used Brabus and RennTech powerplants in their cars.

ive seen an S63 back in the day. it was parked next to a SL73 in San francisco... i fell in love....11 years ago..lol i still remember.

I love the W140 front ends.

How much does an S63 run assuming there's one to be found?

you mean, how much money would they cost?

Well, considering how rare it is, and since it would probably have low mileage (under 80K miles) the seller would probably want $35,000-$40,000 for a car that powerful and rare.

I have seen a 1999 S600 with 50,000 miles go for $35,000 earlier this year... Although, it was certified pre-owned, and immaculate.

we got a '96 S600

but i'm not saying anything about it yet 'cause i don't have the pics so yeah
'cause i know otherwise i'll just get smashed on.. what kind u have?
