Pin stripe removal

You guys that removed your pin stripe - was the paint darker where the pin stripe was covering it?

Not at all - Over time and a few waxes/buffing it'll fade in with the rest of the paint.

You'll only truly notice it if you look directly at it and try to point it out.

I do suggest using 3M adhesive remover.

Along with some Meguiars Claybar kit to remove anything above the paint. Such as residue.
do you mean peel it off, then use 3m adhesive remover, then use the clay?
i think i'll try that tonight - at least step one anyway.
Just get 100 grit sandpaper, close your eyes and rub it real well. It'll be off in no time :rofl:

should i use an orbital sander or a belt sander? and the only sandpaper i have is 60 grit, is that ok to use?
