Potential Track days

We will be offering track days for clients soon. i am hoping to make it an interactive tuning and tracking day. The cost is about $250 per car with full support (including lunch). I will obviously try to foot what that part of the bill I can or cut a special deal on retail items to compensate.
Any memebers here interested in such events?

"Ling's big wheels won't make it past one lap."
In the future, yes, but I won't be able to get down to one of those until around April. I've always wanted to hit a track just to experience the feel, since until now I do all my stuff on the streets.
Part of the day will have the straights closed off for dragging, then we return to open track. I am hoping to setup a few shop project cars, so maybe the scragglers can drive those?
Oooooh shop cars, THAT will be fun.

Just for extra kicks, someone should try to get a C230 loaner there as well. Maybe I'll try to time that ;)

Do you know if Vadim @MBLN can cooperate in something like this?

If you mean Vadim getting involved, I have no objections. If you mean Vadim giving us any help, I doubt it but again no objections.
I was thinking more along the lines of him either showing up with a car that we can throw around on the track, OR providing me with a loaner, knowing that I'm going to trash it on the track ;)
I have that hookup for you here in SD. You take in your car and get a loaner. Plan it for the weekend, and there you have it.

I am also talking to MBUSA about supplying us with a fleet of C240s to do a track training session. These dates would likely match up with the AMG challenge and again be funded by MBUSA.
Wooo that would kick ass. I love abusing something I'm not going to be responsible for. Then again, I drive my car like a rental too.

For the 1st time I tried dyno mode today. In the rain. :D

dude, the rain was fuckin fun yesterday. i took the e55 for the day

if you saw an e55 going up the steep hill on bev. glen sideways at about 4pm, that was me :D
ohhh, yeah, almost forgot, im down for track days.

i can more than likely bring a loaner :dunno:

between my familys 2 benzes and my cousins 4 im sure we can figure something out
Shit, I miss my car. Driving the jeep has gotten so boring.

KLEEMAN :wack:

just fuckin w/ you.

is the jeep 4wd?

when is your car supposed to be ready?
Yeah, the jeep is fully loaded. I screw around off road and it hangs with Mustang GTs, but it ain't nothing like the beast.

Parts need to come from germany and then it is a 2 day job (I guess), so I am hoping next week.

After that, it is all out mods on it and lots of track time.

cool. hope its done next week

did creative take care of the bill?

you should strip it and cage it :drive: :dunno:
No Creative ain't footed shit, yet. I was lucky enough to have JUST met a new friend that stepped up for me. Dunno what I would have done otherwise.
The bill would be in excess of $15K
Jangy, I can help defray some of the expenses for any event.
Let me know what you need.
LOL welcome aboard Vadim!

My car finally started giving me some leeway with the ESP disabled, and it behaves like GM's Competition Mode. It still sucks when it brings me to almost a complete stop when sliding into a turn.

I wish there were other E350's out there who drove like me. It's kinda odd seeing all the other owners barely tooling around, whereas I'm trying to get it sideways at 40mph :D
