Alrighty, guys. I slapped the sprint booster in, so lets see how it rolls. For now, the car is even more of a beast from the dig. Much tighter response. I don't know how I will like it on WOT runs and most especially canyon runs. If the throttle is on - off, it may be too much. If there is some modulation, then it may not be a bad $200 mod.

Very nice. Describe in details "For now, the car is even more of a beast from the dig" since most of us can afford a $200 mod. :thumbup:

Anthuny, it can't hurt the car because it doesn't do anything to it. It's EXACTLY like you wearing a thicker shoe. Keep that in mind.
Also, it won't do anything to help your lag off the line, since it doesn't add any power. Just press the freakin gas!!

Guys,

You need to hold off judgement until you actually try it. I too had the same beliefs as you guys before I tried it. It's hard to explain, as I know it doesn't add more horsepower but the car 'feels' better. It does more than just push the accelerator for you. It eliminates the lag time associated with throttle-by-wire cars. The car is MUCH more responsive now. This topic has been beaten to death so I'm not gonna go into it too much more. But all I ask is try it before you bash it.

Jangy was on the same side of the fence as Roupin. Let's see what he says after he tries it. Personally, I think the sprintbooster would be too much for a 55 AMG motor but for N/A motors, it's perfect.

Just buy one. I mean they only cost 225.00 I think. And if you don't like it, you can sell it in the classified section in exactly 30 seconds. For more than you paid for it, probably.

I'm not sure if it'll do me any good, since I stomp WOT all the time anyway.

One thing that pisses me off though is the occasional *dead* moment on the throttle. For example, I'm coming up to a stop sign, I slow down, I see a big rig coming, I stomp WOT and attempt to turn right. The car just sits there for a solid 1-2 seconds (feels like an eternity though) and THEN decides to move. That's what happened to me and it SUCKED!
