I miss having piranhas, so this thread will be all about them :)

First of all, I used to have a trio of red belly piranhas which were babies when I bought them (about the size of a quarter). They grew to about 7 inches long each. This is what it looks like...

This is the damage they do in the wild...

 I used to have a pair of red bellies. They grew up to about 5 inches. Best fish to have very low maintenance you feed then once every week or two and they never take a crap. Hardly ever had to cleaned the tank. Mine died after my dad decided to transfer a 8" Red devil into the same tank. He killed both of them the 1st day. :( I wanted to grow them bigger an eventually let them loose at the local fishing pond. Dang I miss those guys.

Mine were straight up scary. They got big fast because I used to feed them THREE times a day, plus some live food whenever I felt like running to Petco for feeders.

At one point I fed them only shrimp for a month straight, and their red bellies took on a blood red hue. Their eyes even turned red and they looked badass.

Maybe someday I'll get back into it. I still kept their tank too :D
