This afternoon I started up my car (cold start) and caught a whiff of smoke spit out the exhaust. It had that famous bluish tinge to it. At first it didn't click, and then I just stared in my mirrors wondering how bad it would be. It was gone quickly, but it's sure as hell not common on a new E350 with 2k miles on the clock :hmm:

Mine just turned 2K as well.

So much for the hard break-in :dunno:
I've read about this briefly on mbworld. I think it had something to do with oil :dunno:

What brake issues? I know my brakes kinda sucks after 140 :dunno:
My brake sensors like to make their presence known after a race :dunno:
The 06/07s have a Known Oil Consumption Issue...

The repair calls for a Replacement Engine.... Several of My (TECH) Friends at the stealers have done LOTs of em...

Looks like My 2007 209 will get one as its eating a quart of oil every 700miles...The low oil light comes on...

Or Three Visits and I Will Lemon Law the 209
No oil lights for me, but I'll keep an eye out for it. It didn't smoke up today for some reason :dunno:
