i work for verizon. let me know if you want a hook up on phones (with a plan or upgrade of course). i'll give you a pretty good discount. i work in mission viejo or laguna hills mall in orange county.

Got any hookups that can beat (or at least come close to) Sprint's SERO plan? 500 min, unlimited txt, unlimited data, unlimited roaming for $27 ($30 - military discount). Kinda getting tired of the phones supported on SERO.

Ya, the sero plan is getting pretty shitty. I used to have it, and then they switched the sero plan to 50 bucks a month i believe now. I got the Pre and just got on our family plan, we pay 200 a month for 5 phones, Everything Plan, 2500 minutes, Unlimited Texts and more. All it takes is alot of bitching and talking to the retention center :rofl:

sprint sucks =P

they don't have our network. everyone says verizon is super expensive when its not. if you do the research, AT&T's average is actually more expensive than ours. their plans are the same price including data and what not but going with AT&T, customer averages are actually more (consumer reports january 2010).


i'm not trying to say anything offensive or even mean anything negative at all but c'mon guys. we drive a luxury german mercedes-benz. we bought these cars 'cause they're quality cars. if you didn't care about quality, buy a yaris or corolla. verizon's quality is what you pay for. if you don't care about quality then get boost mobile or metro PCS. their network is a joke. :wall:

Free roaming. My phone can be set to roam only, so I'm pretty much always piggybacking on verizon network anyways. And I don't buy the "we drive expensive cars so we need expensive everything else" argument. There's quality and they're being gouged for quality. Should I go out and buy a Vertu cause I drive an MB? $100 a month for something I can get for around $27 a month. :dunno: Don't get me wrong, I know verizon has the best network and I used to be a verizon customer before switching to Sero, but there's a reason why Sero plans are so highly sought after. I just wish Verizon offered plans somewhere in the same ballpark.

Any idea when the essex is going to hit? It's pretty much the tour with the touchpad instead of the roller ball and WIFI. I was going to get the tour but decided to wait for that.

You'll be hearing from me. Do we get mymbonline discount & Military too? :D

Also, who talks on the phone any more anyways. lol. I send more texts that I make calls, I probably avg 100 minutes a month and thousands of texts a month. Any network should provide decent sending and receiving SMS capabilities.

ive been up for an upgrade for years but nothings come out that i like better than the voyager, but the droid looks sick, what kind of a deal could you get on that?

military discount would be towards your monthly bill and not the phones itself. note* all blackberrys are going to switch from the ball to the touch pad. idk what the essex is. there IS the curve with the touch pad and wifi. i think the tour2 is coming out? i'm not 100% sure when but it'll have wifi for sure. and storm2 has wifi.

i have the voyager right now. its overall a pretty crappy phone imo. the touch kinda sucks. everything else is cool. there IS the ENVtouch which is the upged version of the voyager if you like the LG line. it has a better touchpad and the software is a little different. if you have an upgrade, i could probably do 180 after MIR for the droid.

a slippery slope logical fallacy.



and guys, i'm not trying to saying you should get this or that. you could do whatever with your money. all i'm offering is a discount on verizon that you can't get elsewhere. but anyway, verizon is the number one network and you're paying for the number one network. people that are with at&t are paying the same thing for the worst network. a lot argue that they like the iphone but after the droid has come out, they no longer could use that excuse. i have never heard of Sero and i doubt their plans are highly sought after. a lot of these networks work for some people because they normally stay in areas where they have service and thats fine; awesome, works for them and they get to pay less. while others like to know that they won't get dropped calls and they have the verizon network as an additional assurance that important calls towards family or business won't get interrupted.

i'm offering a discount and not an argument; if you want to argue that your network is better, you're going to lose that argument. cheaper yes. for everyone? no.

it all depends on what you want your next phone to be.. say, you only use it to make calls and text. theres the chocolate touch, env3(top seller, 4.5 star rated, customer favorite), envTOUCH. those are all great phones. say you wanted to check your email and surf the web and use it for work, theres the blackberry line - curve2, tour, storm2. and if you wanted all of that including thousands of applications(like the iphone) go with the droid or the droid eris.
