I'm looking for something that's free to download and easy to use. Nothing fancy, just something that I can use to shorten videos and remove unnecessary parts.

Any ideas?

If you're using XP just use Windows Movie Maker.

yo ling, can you tell me what those 2 I got do? I think one was cybersmething and the other started with a v. I got em and installed, but I only use the one that starts with a c. I dunno when to use which. You can tell I don't know shit, since I can't even remeber the names.

Also, what the hell is a sonic udf reader? I still can't transfer the HD cam stuff over to mpeg. It worked on youtube, so clearly it is possible, but why can't i get media player or quicktime to work?

I think I gave you Cyberlink DirectorPro and AVID Express Pro.

I have no idea what the Sonic UDF reader is. I have not played with those two apps much since I don't do video all that often.

What's weird is the files worked on my computers. If you're on a laptop you might just need to bring it to our next meet so I can take a look.

It doesn't work on my laptop or desktop, but I'm the IT dept at my house so you can guess as to my systems. hehe. I'll definitely bring it by on our next session.

Those are what you gave me. Anyone know what they are for? When to use one over another, etc.
